Bob Groves was appointed elder in 2003 after serving as a deacon from 1997 to 2003. He and his wife, Wanda, have been members at North Tampa since 1996. They have a son, a daughter and four grandchildren.

Ronnie Jackson was appointed elder in 2002 after serving as a deacon from 1999 to 2002. He and his wife, Psyleeta, have been members at North Tampa since 1993. They have two daughters, and one grandchild.

Jim Starks has been an elder for over 10 years, and was one of the original founding members of the North Tampa congregation. He and his wife, Shirley, have two sons, and three grandchildren.
